Sure the stage courses themselves may be more in line with the New Super Mario Bros series but that doesn't mean the game isn't oozing with the same kind of design genius and charm that the Galaxy series benefited from. Many critics have unjustly compared this title to the Galaxy series when from the outset 3D world posits itself as something entirely different. Mario Kart 8 is a must own for fans of the series or of racers in general. With the smoothest online multiplayer gameplay Nintendo's ever produced and some of the best graphics on the system. If you liked or loved the Mario Kart series in any of its incarnations, Mario Kart 8 will surprise and astound you (its arguably the best in the series). And if you're a fan of any of Nintendo's series this game will keep you busy for hours and hours on end. Whether or not you're a fan of the series, there is something for everyone in this game (literally the amount of DLC and unlock able content is insane) It's the best fighting game on the Wii U. I never really got into the series before and am kicking myself for it now that I know what its all about. Well, here it is folk! In all its punishingly awesome HD glory.Ī brilliant indie gem that is a must-own for puzzle fans, with a 3 player co-op mode that is revelatory, ingenious use of the gamepad and an oh-so brilliant subversive ending (No joke) Space Adventures is the digital only indie title that deserves its space on your Wii U hard-drive. This is a monster of a 2D platformer, tailor-made for those who grew up waiting for the proper sequel to DKC2: Diddy's kong quest.
